Jayson Murphy · Gunsmith
The person behind the bench.
Copperhead Holler Armory is the Murphy family's custom firearms and gunsmithing shop in Western North Carolina. You talk directly to the person doing the work.
Family Owned & Operated
We love the work.
Why I started CHA
I built this shop around the part I enjoy most: the work itself.
I'm Jayson Murphy. I've spent most of my life around firearms—hunting, shooting recreationally, working on them, and learning why certain combinations work better than others.
Copperhead Holler Armory grew from wanting to share that experience with people who care about the process as much as the finished firearm. The shop stays intentionally small so the conversation and the work remain personal.
“You'll talk directly to me about the project, and I'll be the person looking over the work before it leaves the bench.”
